  • Antoinette (Toni) Raheem
    Attorney/Mediator

Law & Mediation Offices of Antoinette R Raheem, P.C.   Bloomfield Hills, MI Over her thirty+ years of litigation experience, Toni  has learned the high cost of conflict--emotionally, financially and most seriously, to families. Now focusing exclusively on non-litigation forms of conflict resolution, Toni has undergone over 700 hours of alternative dispute resolution training in order to better serve clients who want to resolve conflicts with dignity, self-determination and in a way that truly meets each party’s needs.  Toni believes that, in most instances, it is best for families, not lawyers or judges, to decide for themselves the destiny of their family post divorce—recognizing that preserving the family, even after divorce, is of paramount importance for children.

Toni’s practice is premised on supporting and empowering each party to honestly communicate their needs, creating a safe environment where all parties can creatively discuss and generate options to meet their needs, modeling patience, civility and respect so that these principles are among the hallmarks of each divorce process in which she participates, and using mental health and/or financial professionals as needed in an effective and efficient manner to save clients unnecessary stress and expense and to help them to reach their optimal solutions.

Toni is the Chair–Elect of the State Bar of Michigan Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Council, a member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Council, a member of Premier Resolution Experts of Michigan (Premi.us), on the Board of Directors of Association for Conflict Resolution of Southeast Michigan, on the Board of Directors for Dispute Resolution Education Resources, Adjunct Professor of Alternative Dispute Resolution at Cooley Law School, an approved civil and domestic mediator on numerous Michigan courts and a member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals.
